ABOUTErin Lamon, LMFT
Art Therapist Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, # LF 60473714 in WA I believe that art serves multiple purposes and often can help us make meaning from the challenges we face in life. I will invite you to participate in expressing yourself in new ways and join you in exploring visual themes. The function of art therapy is complex; it serves as a means of accessing inner turmoil in a way that words may not. We all develop with particular images that are as ingrained yet unique as the very language we use to communicate.. There are countless other way to explore oneself via art materials ranging from pencil to fabric to paint to collage. I will gauge what might work for you, monitor it closely and always provide options. On a personal note.. I am the mother of two young children. We enjoy traveling, learning, spending time outdoors and thrive on bringing creativity into all aspects of life. You may be interested to learn that I am also a recognized Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS) for the work I have done throughout King County. |
